Lotus Cannon

Lotus received her undergrad degree in Econ from Harvard. When we met her, she was training for ballroom competitions and working toward her law degree at Columbia University. We're proud to say that she graduated and is now officially a lawyer.

 

Lotus has been training and competing for ten years in ballroom and hip hop dance. Since moving to New York six years ago, she has performed with the Broadway Dance Center, trained under new Dancing With The Stars  pros Pasha Pashkov and Daniella Karagach, and competed in International Latin and American Rhythm styles at competitions around the country, earning the titles of USA Dance National Prechamp Rhythm Champion and Novice Latin Finalist.

 

Lotus has taught Zumba fitness classes at Columbia Law School and loves doing Zumba, hip hop, and social Latin dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue) whenever possible.

 

She enjoys fusing different dance styles and creating fun choreography for couples to enjoy.
